Dr. Dorothy Rowe is a native of the Washington D.C. area. She graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University in 1988. She then spent two years at the NIH as a research fellow. She attended medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Rowe graduated from medical school in 1994. She went on to a Residency in General Surgery at Columbia, and spent two years completing a combined research/ECMO fellowship at the Babies and Children's Hospital of New York. She completed her residency in 2001. Most recently, she completed a Pediatric Surgery fellowship in June, 2003 at the Children's Hospital of the New York. Dr. Rowe is certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and board eligible in Pediatric Surgery. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. Dr. Rowe moved to the Phoenix area in September of 2003. Her personal interests include skiing, hiking, and reading.
